Low Light Plants
Low Light & Indirect Light Plants
Thrive in dim corners, offices, and north-facing rooms. Beautiful plants that prefer indirect light and low light conditions.
Greenery for Every Corner
Our low light plant collection brings life to spaces where direct sunlight is limited. These shade-loving varieties are naturally adapted to forest floors and indirect light, making them perfect for apartments, offices, bathrooms, and rooms with limited windows.
Why Low Light & Indirect Light Plants?
- Versatile Placement: Thrive in indirect light away from windows and in dim spaces
- Office Friendly: Perfect for fluorescent, artificial, or filtered natural lighting
- Naturally Adapted: Evolved to grow in shaded forest environments with indirect light
- Forgiving: Won't scorch or fade in lower or indirect light conditions
Ideal Locations
North-facing rooms with indirect light, bathrooms, hallways, offices with no windows or only indirect light, corners and entryways, or any space 5+ feet from a window where light is filtered or indirect.
Light Requirements Explained
Low light and indirect light mean filtered or ambient light, not complete darkness. Indirect light is light that doesn't hit the plant directly—it's been diffused through curtains, reflected off walls, or filtered through other objects. These plants can tolerate dim conditions and prefer indirect light exposure. They still need some ambient or indirect light to photosynthesize. Rotate occasionally for even growth.
